Job Overview – 
The purpose of this position is to ensure the cleanliness of rooms and public spaces. The Room Attendant/Housekeeper position will come in contact with guests and will need to have positive guest interactions. Housekeeping Associates play an important role for our home-away-from-home experience for each of our guests every day.

General Responsibilities – 
• Acknowledges and greets guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Reviews daily inventory of rooms, arrivals and departures.
• Reviews daily inventory of supplies needed to complete the assignments for the day.
• Cleaning of hotel rooms/condos including: dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen area, lobby and common areas.

Job Overview:
Under direct supervision of the Housekeeper Manager, cleans public areas, offices and halls in the resort.

General Responsibilities:
• Cleans and sanitizes the public bathroom including sinks, toilet and floors.
• Moves furniture, hangs drapes, and rolls carpets.
• Sweeps, vacuums, scrubs, waxes, and polishes public area floors.

Job Overview –  
The purpose of this position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining and meeting at the resort. Banquet Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

Banquet Servicer will follow through with the proper and timely set-up and execution of banquet events. Set up includes tables, chairs, stages, dance floors and audio visual equipment. Maintain a high degree of professionalism. Maintain all equipment and facilities in an organized, clean, safe environment.

General Responsibilities –
• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) at the beginning of each shift to ensure room are set as contracted. Confirm and setup A/V equipment needs to contract for the event.
• Prepare rooms for use; adjusting lights, sound volumes, and temperature as needed for before guests arrive.
• Be in communication with the lead catering staff regarding any special needs.
• Assist in ensuring that the events are on time. Make adjustments as needed and relay that information to the appropriate personnel.
• Pass any information that is needed to the next staff member on duty.
• Ensure proper use, storage and maintenance of all A/V and meeting room equipment. Ensure there is proper back up in the event that any equipment is not properly functioning.

• Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
• Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items…etc.
• Handle the table bookings, direct customers to their tables, presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks.

Job Overview – 
Cooks are expected to prepare breakfast foods, fry, grill, bake, and sauté a variety of food items. They need to be able to assist anyone on the team including the banquet chef, the banquet captain, and/or any manager with food preparation and cooking throughout the resort.

General Responsibilities – 
• Responsible for preparing a variety of foods, prepare vegetables, clean fish or poultry, and trim meat.
• Assemble, measure, and mix all the required ingredients for the dishes they have to prepare as written in the recipes by the chefs.
• May need to grill, sauté, bake, fry, the dishes they prepare.
• May also be responsible for making sure that all necessary ingredients are in stock and stored properly.

Restaurant Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, bartenders are expected to be attentive to our guest’s needs and make them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

General Responsibilities – 
• Greet guests, take beverage orders from the restaurant servers or directly from guests.
• Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards.
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures.
• Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts.

Job Overiew – 
Wranglers supervise guests as they participate in equestrian activities such as trail rides and cattle working exercises. In addition to acting as guides on rides, wranglers are also involved with providing daily care for the horses and animals including grooming, saddling, feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning tack, and maintaining the barn area.

General Responsibilities – 
• Participate in and implement programming activities both in and out of the barn.
• Participate and entertain in various resort programming as required.
• Participate in the maintenance of horses, equipment, and facilities.
• Participate in the miscellaneous tasks required in a ranch/resort environment.

• Safely move horses from pen to barn and into correct stalls.

• Maintain constant surveillance of guests in the Gold Rush Water Park and Back Forty Swimmin’ Hole.
• Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations according to Double JJ policies and safety procedures.
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Monitor all slide participants to ensure safety.
• Communicate with slide attendant at the bottom of the slide to ensure safety of slide participants.
• Remain in position on stand during proper rotation cycle
• Perform opening and closing procedures, pre- and post-shift checks
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Under general supervision, responsible for protecting the safety of members and participants in and around the water slides within the Gold Rush Waterpark and the Back Forty Swimmin’ Hole facilities. Prevent potential accidents by ensuring adherence to policies and program standards of the Double JJ Resort.

General Responsibilities – 
• Enforce slide rules according to Double JJ policies and safety procedures.
• Provide supervision for slide area, including top of slide and the designated slide catch pool.
• Monitor all slide participants to ensure safety.
• Communicate with slide attendant at the bottom of the slide to ensure safety of slide participants.
• Remain in position at slide during operation
• Perform opening and closing procedures, pre- and post-shift checks
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Appearance

  • Good personal hygiene and a clean/wholesome appearance is expected of all employees at all times. Visible tattoos and extremes in hairstyles, clothing, jewelry or makeup are not permitted. Men must have neatly groomed hair, cut above the collar and be cleanly shaven prior to coming on duty at the resort. Beards, goatees, excessive sideburns and new growth facial hair is not allowed for seasonal employees.
  • Neat and well groomed appearance at all times.

Uniforms

  • Employees are required to purchase Double JJ Staff uniforms.
  • You will need to provide your own khaki colored pants, blue jeans, shorts, and white or black shirts (either henley or oxford style). Uniform requirements may vary by department. Please check with your hiring manager.
  • All employees are responsible for care and cleaning of their uniforms (coin-operated washers/dryers are available).
  • No extreme hair colors or unnatural dying.
  • No body piercings allowed while working.

General Information

  • Climate – Summer daytime temperatures average 75 degrees with evening lows in the 60s, spring/fall usually much cooler. Winter daytime temperatures average 30 degrees with evening lows under 10 degrees. 
  • Clothes – sweaters and jackets generally needed; expect occasional rain. In the winter, expect snowfall.
