Each summer, tens of thousands of fans travel from all parts of the country and the world to gather at the Double JJ Resort in Rothbury Michigan for the music & camping adventure of a lifetime. This year Electric Forest takes place on two distinct, back-to-back weekends: June 22- June 25, and June 29 – July 2. Electric Forest is known for bringing together a passionate group of fans whose shared community spirit makes the festival a truly unique experience. Enjoy the camping grounds or stay at the Resort. Festival
Electric Forest Festival is held on two weekends. It is a multi-genre festival, with a focus on electronic and jam band genres held in Rothbury Michigan, at the Double JJ Resort. The festival uses the natural beauty of the venue to carefully create art pieces for a themed environment. Interactive characters and storylines blend with diverse performing artists and musicians to create a collective atmosphere.
For the 7th year in a row, Electric Forest welcomes back fan favorite The String Cheese Incident, Also performing on both weekends are Bassnectar, Big Gigantic, and Claude VonStroke. Heavyweights ODESZA, Above & Beyond, My Morning Jacket, Nero (Live), and more will perform exclusively on the First Weekend. More performers to be announced, as the event date approaches.
Resort
Our accommodations range from rustic cabins to elegant log homes, to beautifully appointed luxury suites. The Campground & RV Park is located right in the center of the “Old West” town. All of the many amenities available at Double JJ such as a golf course, indoor water park, horseback riding trails, and more are only minutes from your RV site.
The Gold Rush Water Park is 60,000 square feet of pure fun. The waterpark will be open 10 am – 6 pm on festival days. Tickets to the Water Park are $20 per visit and include a shuttle to the water park from the festival and the use of towels and showers. After some fun in the water head to Rustlers Roost located in the waterpark. Grab a stool and enjoy some food and drinks before heading back to the festival!
