Itinerary
ARRIVAL DAY
4:00 PM – Check-In
5:00 PM – Pizza & Soda at Rustler’s Roost
SECOND DAY
7:00 AM – Breakfast at Sundance Saloon
& Grill
9:30 AM – Horseback Trail Ride
12:00 PM – Lunch at Rustler’s Roost (chicken tenders & sides)
5:00 PM – Hayride, Bonfire, Hot Dogs & S’mores
DEPARTURE DAY
7:00 AM – Breakfast at Sundance Saloon & Grill
Lodging
Lodging for the Scout Troop package is located at the Junior J Ranch, in the Back Forty area of the resort. Choose from Kid Cabins, Tee Pees or Covered Wagons to make their stay a unique, old-west adventure.
- Accommodations are assigned based on availability and your group size
- Kid Cabins sleep 10 and have a one stall bathroom and shower
- Teepees sleep 12
- Bathhouse with a one stall bathroom and shower is located in the Junior J Ranch
- Everyone must provide their own bedroll (sleeping bag, pillow, towel, toiletries, etc.)
Scout Troop Activity Info
The Double JJ Ranch, Waterpark and Golf Resort have many opportunities for you to work and grow with your team. We offer a comprehensive menu of strategically-designed games, challenges and adventures.
Horseback Riding
- All children ages 7 and under will need to have a quick evaluation prior to their ride time to determine the level of trail ride they will be allowed on.
- You must arrive 20 minutes early for your scheduled ride.
- Additional trail rides can be added on for $30 per person
- Ride times must be scheduled at least 30 days prior to your arrival. They fill up quickly!
Gold Rush Indoor Waterpark
- The Gold Rush Indoor Waterpark is located in the JJ Frontier area of the resort and is available prior to check-in and after check-out. Towels are provided.
Swimmin’ Hole Outdoor Waterpark
- The Outdoor Waterpark is located in the Back Forty featuring a waterslide, two pools, a splash pad & hot tub! Cactus Jacks is located in the waterpark offering a variety of cool freshments.
