In honor and in memory of our beloved Wally Wojack, the Double JJ Resort proudly presents the 4th Annual Wally Wojack Memorial Rodeo.
 
Rodeo athletes from across the region will compete at our 3,000-seat rodeo arena in bull riding, barrel racing, team roping and all the classic rodeo stunts presented by Flying Star Rodeo. Flying Star Rodeo is sanctioned by Midstate Rodeo Association and the International Pro Rodeo Association. Events include Bareback Riding, Bull and Mini Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, and Break-away Roping plus Rodeo Clown Acts and Boot Scramble for the kids.
 
A pig roast will be available for $15/person in the beer tent, kids activities, & concessions. Join us for the after-party at the Double JJ Resort’s Wagon Wheel where you’ll enjoy live music featuring the Steeple Hill Band, dancing, and a cash bar. A perfect ending to a perfect day.

WALLY WOJACK MEMORIAL RODEO

Cost Adult: (12+) $12.00 (advance)  $15.00 (gate)
Cost Children: (<12) $7.00 (advance) $10.00 (gate)
Parking: $5.00 in back-to-school supplies, or $5.00 cash. All donations will be donated to students.

BBQ PIG ROAST in the BEER TENT

Description: Come hungry for pulled pork bbq with all the fixings, price includes water & lemonade.  Located under the big tent.

RODEO AFTER PARTY
Location:  Double JJ Resort’s “Wagon Wheel” across street from Rodeo
Dates:  August 26, 2023
Time: 9:00 PM 
Cost: Free (must be 21)
Description: Join us for a rodeo after-party in the Wagon Wheel featuring the Steeple Hill Band, cash bar, bonfire & yard games overlooking the lake!
