On The Resort
Explore fall on a horse. Horseback riding in the fall is our favorite time to go for a ride. You are submerged in the changing colors and the crisp air breezes by. At Double JJ we offer beginner trail rides, intermediate and advanced rides. If you want to experience the vibrant colors by horse but maybe not on horseback enjoy a wagon ride through the Back Forty and then indulge in some tasty s’mores and a toasty bonfire.
Explore by golf cart. Golf is another great way to get outside and take in the Autumn air. At Double JJ we offer two beautiful golf courses in one place! Choose between Grandview Golf Course or Thoroughbred Golf Course. Both courses feature gorgeous greens and challenging holes.
Off The Resort
Explore fall in Rothbury Michigan at Lewis’ Farm Market. Get lost in the six-acre corn maze and pick a few, or a lot, of pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. Find the perfect shape and size for your fall pumpkin carving. Do not forget about the other fall decor; gourds, hay bales, and corn stalks are all available in the market. While you are shopping, grab a cinnamon apple donut!
Special this fall cheer on your favorite pig during the pig races and then go to the petting zoo to cuddle them after. Enjoy the apple express for a wagon ride around the farm. Shoot fruit from six bunker hill cannons. This is only the beginning of the fun events at Lewis Farm Market located five minutes from the Resort.
